Our French Program
The Bilingual Montessori School of Sharon offers the acquisition of a foreign language to your children. Daily French classes are offered to children of all ages (Toddlers to Lower Elementary). Proven studies demonstrate that children are better learners when they are engaged and are having fun. Children who are exposed to different languages early on in life develop profound linguistic awareness that they carry throughout their lifetime. Our French Directress provides them with a great wealth of confidence and vocabulary to speak French. Children who attend BMSS from Infancy to Primary, master French as a second language.
Our French Directress has been teaching at our school for fifteen years. She holds an International Diploma in Early Childhood Education from France. Her expertise: teaching French to youngsters as a second language. Her teaching philosophy includes preparing the environment to make it fun and engaging for her students. Her curriculum is taught through practicing games, songs, books, and visual movements. In addition, we have the right accessible and organized environment, the precise support structure allowing the children to learn French in a strong, logical order and gracious manner.
Subsequently, our classrooms (especially the Infant Program) include French native-speaking teachers who are able to solely speak French to your children, if you should desire so. Such daily routines and human interactions help support the children’s development of the French language.
